I’ve got a love story to share, and it’s pretty adorable. You see, Mary and Nick grew up their whole lives across the street from one another.
They played together with all the neighborhood kids.
They were high school and then college sweethearts.
We took this photo on their street last summer during their engagement session…
Now on this cold December day, they were getting married! We were thrilled to be documenting this new chapter for them, not only because these two are some of the most genuine and kind folk around, but also because Mary has been a special person to our family. Brett and I were extremely happy for them!
Their day went so smoothly. Surrounded by so much love from family and friends, the feeling was overwhelming. Between the smiles across each face to the look in everyone’s eyes–it was such a joyous occasion.
Walking into Mary’s bedroom in her parents house I saw her gorgeous dress hanging in the window. It was just perfect; her childhood room holding the key to her new role as a wife. This began the unfolding of the day’s beautiful love story.
Meanwhile, across the street….
They waited to see each other at the ceremony…
The ceremony and hand written vows were so sweet.
And when it was finished there was a TINY bit of light left, so we took full advantage of that 10 minutes!
Mary’s dress was just stunning…as if it was made just for her.
Mary and Nick, we just adore you two and your love! We feel blessed to have you in our lives. Our prayer is that God would watch over your marriage and bless you with many wonderful years together!
Much love,
jess & brett
