If I recall, Sean and Katy were one of our first couples to book us for a 2010 wedding. We knew when we met with them, that they had a very discerning eye and distinctive taste. They were looking for the right photographer to match their style, and we felt so honored when they booked us. It is the greatest feeling to be chosen because people see that "something" that your work can bring to the table. Sean and Katy, Brett and I thank you for entrusting us with your day. Nancy, of Brideface, working her fairy dust magic as always! the coolest cuff links I've seen.... The beautiful, classic looking bride! Katy was stunning!! First look....they both were ALL smiles. :)
Their wedding and reception was held at Cincinnati's Union Terminal. Rain brought the ceremony indoors, but we still had a chance to rock out some portraits outside. Katy and her sweetheart Dad, right before walking down the isle. We so appreciated the time that Katy and Sean set aside for portraits! This is one of my favorites of the day.... All the beautiful flowers for the day by Katie Elfers of Inspired Floral Design! LOVE her work. First time we have seen a "cake pull," which is a Southern tradition where charms are pulled out of the wedding cake. Katy and Sean, thank you again for everything! You both were so incredibly kind, and we so enjoyed your day. We felt like friends hanging out and taking photos. ;) You two are so adorably perfect together, and we wish you both many, many years of memory making! jess + brett
Katy is just a doll. Such a gorgeous smile on her face as she got ready surrounded by her friends and family.
Ahhhh….yeahhhhhh – these are AWESOME!!! I love the dancing stars shot, those portraits (the office table/the silhouttes!) and those florals!! WOWWWW..you know, I always would see that terminal when I lived in Cincy and be super curious about the inside of it – now I know! :)
Ditto everything gail said, even her favorites. Oh wait, I’ve been to The UT so don’t ditto that part.;) great job!!
Very beautiful. I really like that shot overlooking the dance floor. Am I seeing things or did I notice some tilt-shift in some of these! :)
I love Union Terminal! That’s where I wanted to have our reception when we got married (since that’s where Dan took me on our first date)… but, I got pregnant, so the rush was on to get married. (Look back now and wish we had taken our time on the planning!) Anyways, some day, when we’re ready, a family photo shoot would be beautiful for us there – I’ll be calling you guys when that day comes! (-:
Love the shot of the union terminal with the birds flying in B&W and the arial view of the dance floor.
You did such a tremendous job showing the love of Sean and Katy in these photos. So many wonderful ideas on how to present a wedding! As the mother of the groom, I am overcome with joy in looking through the pics. :)
