When Chad and Amanda booked with us last summer, they warned us that their wedding would be amazing….and was it ever. Prepare yourself for one of the most thoughtful, sentimental, fun, incredibly relaxed, and so so joyous of weddings! This day blew us away!
Amanda and Chad were married at The Inn of Oneonta, a venue that we absolutely adore.
You two know how to work the camera so so well. Looking fierce!
This was one of the most romantic weddings we’ve ever witnessed. When they did their first look, it was as if no one else existed in the world but them. It was touching watching them take their time to love on each over, whisper sweetly, and hold each other…they did not rush it, and we so admired that.
This GROUP. They were amazing. So much good energy, and so much fun.
Their signs were the bee’s knees! Loved every single one.
I could have watched Amanda and her precious connection she has with her grandparents all day long.
See her sweet father looking at her as they walk down the isle? He gave her away, and then walked up on the stage to marry them. (LOVE!)
They had a bluegrass band singing and playing that was maybe the best I’ve ever heard. Of course their ceremony was wildly romantic–from personal tributes, remembrances, the most beautiful readings, and then they each read their handwritten vows. Talk about a beautiful ceremony.
Chad, it’s evident how much you cherish her.
Every single aspect of their wedding had personal touches intertwined. The general theme revolved around “roots” and family because Amanda grew up with her father telling her, “Amanda, always remember your roots.”
Singing! Lots of singing! Amanda is an actress, and many of their friends are actors, actresses, singers, and artists. It was so cool watching different friends take turns standing up to the mic and dedicating songs, surprising the couple with newly written pieces, and also seeing Amanda and Chad break a leg as well! These folks know how to have a good (and heartfelt) time, I tell ya.
Amanda and Chad, we are so thrilled that you chose us to document a day that was so incredibly important in your lives. Honestly, we enjoyed every minute of it! Wishing you years of happiness and love. –Brett and Jess
Our first wedding of 2015 was fantastic, and took place on day #2 of the year! Sarah and Nick were a super rad and laid back couple to work with. We had only met them once before the wedding, and after chatting with them over beers, we knew their day was going to be a great time.
On the big day we started out with the Cincy skyline as our backdrop, and then moved on to shots around Rhinegeist Brewery. The grand finale was the amazingly gorgeous ceremony and reception at the Bell Event Center. Together, these components made the most perfect wedding day for Sarah and Nick!
Sarah and Nick, thanks so much for having us for your beautiful day. You, your family, and friends were so wonderful to hang with for the day! Brett and I wish you two all the best, and many wonderful years together!
Lovely lovely :) I really like the night time shots, such a cool feel to them. And all those signs are great!!
