We are on our 4th installment of our look back over 2009!! Thank you so much to all who have voted!! Today we are looking at some favorite studio3z wedding day portraits.
If you haven’t seen what we are doing this week, we are running a contest!! Here is a refresher on the details:
I will post a new category every day or so this week (families, couples, wedding, etc.). You choose a favorite photo in each category and tell us which one it is, and WHY you like it in the comment box. Next Friday February 5th we will add up all of the votes for each photograph. The photo in each category with the most votes is the winner. The person in that particular photo (or who it belongs to) will receive a FREE 8×10 of the photograph! But then listen to this….The ONE photo that gets the most votes overall, that person in the photo will receive a FREE 11x 14 canvas (a $250 value)!!! So how do we decide the winners? YOU DO by commenting!! If you are featured on here feel free to tell your friends, neighbors and family to get in on the voting….but we ask PLEASE one vote per person in EACH category. Let’s play fair!
Remember, you may place ONE vote in EACH category.

I apologize for the very slow week here on the blog. You may or may not have even noticed the lack of posting, but when I don’t stay on a blog schedule (especially when I am backed up) it really weighs on me. But alas, it is winter…and with winter comes illness. And when you have 4 children you have 4x the chances for sickness to begin. We’ve had some of that fun stuff going on round here.
I am so happy to finally share the lovely wedding of Jamie and Lee. Jamie and Lee booked us when they lived in Charleston, South Carolina. Soon after that they moved to Cincinnati, and they had a wonderful wedding to kick off 2010.
Their wedding was held at one of my new favorite Cincinnati venues, The Queen City Club. The place was gorgeous. Little (and big) historic treasures and architectural character lay around every corner.
Lee looking dapper….
The cut of Jamie’s ring was beyond amazing.
Jamie’s girls lending a helping hand.
Lee waiting to see his bride for the first time….one of Brett’s favorites.
first look. :)
The only request by Lee was to have photos here.
I met back with the ladies, and they had fun rummaging through the lost and found. Yes, you heard me right. I thought is was hilarious.
A few portraits of the couple…..
I was so in love with that flooring.
LOVE this shot.
The sweet ceremony…..
….and a little congratulatory bubbly!
Two things I love about this photo:
1. That Jamie can make fun of herself. Jamie passed out ON STAGE at her sister’s wedding a year ago (ambulance, the whole nine-yards)…as you can guess, there were a lot of jokes that night. That’s her sister laying on the floor, doing a little pay-back. ;)
2. I love that our brides can have fun in front of the camera.
The perfectly exquisite ballroom.
Their band was over the top amazing. Seriously, I was IN LOVE.
This shot is a favorite…
I hope Brett is holding me with that look on his face when we are that age.
:)
These folks knew how to PAR-TAY!
Later in the night Jamie switched to this cute little dress!
Jamie and Lee, thank you for allowing us the honor of being a part of your day. We wish you two all the best in the years to come! :)
