family of four {a lifestyle session}

I have to be honest here, I totally LOVED this family.  They are just adorable, and oh so loveable.  I am a total sucker for a family that loves all over each other- what can I say?  It is our favorite past time!  :)  I espeically love it when brothers and sisters get all googly and lovey.  Am I intimidating you with my big words?  I’m sorry, I just can’t help it.  :)

We had this gorgeous fall crisp day, and when we met this family and I saw the COLOR- Wow!  They were dressed PERFECT for some great color pop.  While editing these I really had a hard time doing black and white or sepia tones because I love the colors they wore with the fall foliage.  Great job guys! :)

Didn’t I tell you they were adorable?

We made time to get some shots of just mom and dad.  Meet Dave and Sara.

(Brett: My favorite!)

I love this. One of my favorites!

WOW!!!  Sara pointed out this awesome tree, and I love the shots we got by it. She shares a love of trees, like me.

Sara, you are BEAUTIFUL!

Are these kids just the cutest!!?  Meet Maria and Drew.

Drew went from Mr. Shy to Mr. Ham.  :)

Awwww….I love it LOVE IT!!! (Brett: My second favorite!!!)

Thanks V family for spending the afternoon with us!  We loved meeting you guys.  :)

family of four, soon to be five. {a lifestyle session}

One of my favorite little families. :) These are my friends Jessica and Michael and their two precious girls Alayah and Jade.  We met up at a beautiful park where they enjoyed a nice family picnic before running around and exploring the gardens.  The girls were just cute as could be, and their little personalities are about as different as could be.  Just watch….

Here’s Jade.  She’s almost 2, quiet and sweet.  She also has some rockin’ glasses. :)

Alayah was starting to warm up to me here.  She is 3, and fun and active with a personality that is ON!!

Jess and Michael trying to keep the kids calm :)  HAAA!!  I think this is more REAL.

Moving on from the picnic, we walked through some beautiful gardens.  The girls had fun talking about all the colors of the flowers.

I think they were singing here with their Mama.

Jade puts her glasses back on.  I just LOVVVVE this age so much.

Two benches.  Mom, Dad, and Jade on the bench on the right-Alayah insists on the left.  Did I mention she may have a liiiiiittle ounce of stubbornness?  Just a little.  :)

We convinced her that the right side was the cool side.

I love this moment.

Could this little sweetheart be any more precious??

Smelling all the flowers.

Jade let everyone smell her special pink flower.

The girls were telling me about the brother that is in their Mama’s belly.  I can’t wait to see this family with their first baby BOY!!

GORGEOUS.  Her eyes are just out of this world.

I got some great shots that really showed off Alayah’s personality quite a bit.  Choosing was insanely difficult. I love these of her.  SO MUCH.

So Jade decided to try and eat her special flower.  When Mama said, “Ewww.  That doesn’t taste very good Jade,” she stopped.  When her Daddy acted like he was going to eat it, she made such a funny and adorable face.  I am just in LOVE with that last one!

Alayah jumped in the fountain.   I love the way she is holding her little finger on the side.  Jade looks on to her daring big sister.

A moment with just Jess and Michael. I love it too.

Thanks for hanging with me guys. It was so fun, and I hope these images captured your family at this moment in time very well. Pretty soon the dynamics will be changing up a bit in the family, and I can’t wait to photograph THAT BABY BOY!!!! Best to luck to you Jess with the remainder of your pregnancy. Love to you guys! Kisses to Alayah and Jade from Jesse! :)

***EDIT***Just spoke to Jess and they are STILL without power. If you didn’t hear about the storm that rocked Cincinnati, OH read 2 posts below.  Jess can’t see her blog yet.  It has been 6 days without power.  :(
