I have an absolute love/hate relationship with my iphone. It drives me crazy–I hate relying on a device, but I know that I capture so much more of everyday moments thanks to having it around. Here’s a look at a few tidbits of life from the past week via instagram. If you follow me, then this is nothing new. ;)
-Gabe and I snuggled up by the fire last week as temps dipped into the single digits in Cincinnati
– Brett and I met up with a few photographers for lunch and coffee last week
– handwriting lesson on the chalkboard
– we surprised the kids and decided last minute to head to Tennessee for the weekend
– cherished country and farm life at Brett’s grandpa’s cabin
-visits to Nashville, and some seriously good coffee
We post to instagram daily. Feel free to follow along with our crazy life… @jesszwo @brettzwo
Here I am prepping a blog post, feeling all timid and shy because it’s been nearly a month since I last blogged. To say we’ve had an interesting fall (or make that year) with sickness taking over our house, would be a drastic understatement. I always wanted 4 kids, but pre-kids I never really thought about how one gets sick and then a week later the next, and so on, and so on, until the first one catches it right when the 4th one is finishing it up-a month later. Bring on round 2. Yep. Welcome to my last month or so.
I’ve had some insane-borderline comical moments literally sitting and wondering if I would ever leave home again–and then one day when I left after not stepping OUTSIDE my door for TEN DAYS, I almost felt like I had a case of culture shock going on. I guess a reverse case of “cabin-fever” you could say. ;)
Here’s hoping that this fog (or month long hangover is more what it feels like) is lifting. I’ve been trying to take it in stride and realizing it will pass, Lord willing. This gorgeous fall sprinkled with Indian Summer weather has been a treat, and the days we’ve been able to be outside and get fresh air have been wonderful, much needed mood-lifters.
Surprisingly, we have managed to get out and still shoot here and there. I have loads of sessions to blog, personal trips and tidbits, but for now here are a few of my fall instagram favorites. No matter how crazy my life gets, I still instagram nearly every single day. It’s my quick little creative outlet.

I plan on being back in the groove and playing catch up, so I’ll see you again soon. I hope. ;)
i have the same love/hate relationship with my iphone too! my DSLR is getting dusty, and any skills i had are rusty … but the ease of documenting daily life through the iphone is irreplaceable :)
love the surprise last minute trip to TN! and love your shots as always :)
That coffee shop looks awesome! What’s it called? Please tell me it’s in Cinci and not TN!
