Leslie and Tom are super fun, adventurous, and organic pork farmers (you know…on the side). No joke, they’re crazy cool. We’re excited to photograph these two on the farm with their pet donkey, when their wedding day rolls around this May!
We photograph people and places year round, but rarely do you see us “doing what we do.” Inevitably, we manage to snag a few shots of one another throughout the year while working; sometimes on purpose, sometimes not. We walk in front of the camera, we’re waiting for the other to finish that pose, all I see is his butt in front of my lens, or he makes me stand for a lighting test….over and over again. The folder of “in-action” photos began like this, and now we love looking back over the years of us working.
So here we are below doing what we love–lost in the moment of that perfect shot, sometimes (most times) looking absolutely ridiculous. I now know I talk with my hands, dress like I’m homeless when I’m cold, and blink. Often.
These photos are from 2011 and 2012. If the song sounds familiar, yes, it was used in the past. It hurts my musical soul to repeat a song, but it fit just right, and I didn’t have hours to dedicate to finding another. And you just can’t go wrong with The Kinks.
Oh! And the first photo doesn’t have us in it, but it made me laugh. It’s a behind the scenes look at a bridal room I set up to get a perfectly lit dress shot. The things we do to get it right! ;)
To each and every one of you that allowed us in to document a small piece of your life, we thank you. We feel so blessed to work with such wonderful families and couples! We really have the best clients around.
*much love*

Love the ones of them on the quilt. The colors in your editing are beautiful. Bet they love these so much!
Love this session! The rock-climbing is such a different & refreshing look for an engagement session. It makes for such relaxed, candid & unique images! Nicely done! I’m always inspired when I find myself back on your blog. :)
