I’ve been working on getting a post together to share the experience of being with my sister and her husband, and the DAYS we spent at the hospital leading to my niece’s birth. It’s taken a while to process, and tomorrow I will share the photos. Talk about being oddly torn between being a sister, doula, and photographer. It was really such an experience, and an incredible honor to have been a part of it all.

My sister and her husband welcomed their first baby on Friday, after being in the hospital since Tuesday! I was with them the entire time playing part photographer, and part big sister/doula. Lilah Jane is ridiculously precious; so alert and full of personality. If you follow me on instagram (@jesszwo) you’ve already seen quite a few photos of the little gal.

After catching back up on sleep this past weekend, I’m now weeding my way through work and schooling with the kids. Soon (hopefully) I’ll have some great photos from last week’s experience to share.
