(1) Lately he has been writing his own songs and working to perfect them. Be still my heart.

(2) We went to Ikea for dinner last week and did a goofy mini-session on the big blue wall beforehand. It was a great time getting out of the house together.

(3) My kids have been working very hard on memorizing their 13 and 14 multiplication tables for a challenge they have coming up. We are currently eating, breathing, and sleeping while doing memory facts.

(4) Of course this ham bone had to try out all the various furniture around Ikea and comment LOUDLY on all of his thoughts. I don’t know where this one came from.

The light was just perfection on this autumn evening a few months back. We photographed our niece, Olivia, for her Senior photos. She will be a homeschool graduate this Spring (yay!) and has received top honors and offers from colleges. Everyone is so proud of her! She’s an incredibly sweet and bright girl, beautiful inside and out. We can’t wait to see where she goes in this world!
