Our 2014 wedding season kicked off with these two lovebirds. After photographing them for their engagement session and hearing about their wedding, we knew it was going to be a wonderful day! Jill and Kurt currently reside in Chicago, but their wedding was in the small Indiana town were they both grew up. From the moment we walked into Jill’s parent’s door we were greeted with such kindness and hospitality. All day long it was a joy meeting their family, friends, and watching Jill and Kurt unite in love.

Jill and Kurt have the most adorable Labradoodle named Gus. The second she was stepping into her dress Gus came right up and sat down in front of her as if he knew something very important was taking place.

Jill was such a beauty!

Kurt’s Dad has an awesome Model T, which served as the getaway car! They also brought in a few more for the entire bridal party to join in on the fun.

Jill’s father is a pastor at their church and performed the ceremony.  This is right before Jill’s father asked everyone in the audience to take a photo of the couple with their phones, and gave out the appropriate hashtag.  ;)

One of my dearest friends recently gave birth to her second son. I had the incredible honor of documenting his entrance into the world, and then around a week later Brett and I photographed Archer with his new loving family. His big brother Elijah, who had his own newborn session with us, is just completely smitten with his new pal. He loves and squeezes him, and now calls him his “best friend.”

It makes me overjoyed to witness my dear friend with this sweet little life. What a gift each child is to their family, and a tremendous growth in blessing.

Jess and Trey, thank you for allowing us to be a part of this newest chapter. We love watching our families grow up beside each other. :)  Much love!
