to say that I am “protective” of her would be a major understatement.
she is not only my baby baby sister…..but also my best friend.
to say that we are more like twins, would be completely accurate.
we go shopping, split up, and meet back up with the same things…..
we complete each others sentences, and can speak to each other with our secret eye powers. seriously.
ash has one of the sweetest hearts i know.
that heart has been through much over the past few years.
seeing her go through pain and trials was not easy…..
but now she is stronger.
GOD has brought her through.
less than a year ago ashley joined the cincinnai house of prayer. there was a guy on staff named adam.
they had never met.
she had a very moving dream about him. the kind of dream you could write a book about. the kind of dream you can’t quit thinking about.
in the dream ashley couldn’t walk, but needed to go up a hill.
adam put his arms around her waist, and carried her up.
the next day they met in real life. they became friends.
one night ash shared her dream with him. he was moved, because he also had a dream very similar to hers.
months later, here they stand together…..and she’s got a cool vintage ring on her finger.
he thinks she’s cute when she busts out in song and dance. i like that.
brett and i loved doing this session with ashley and adam. we loved seeing them happy and in love. we loved getting to know adam more.

so normally it takes people a good 15 minutes or so to loosen up during a session. we got out of the car and my sister busted out with this photo below. yes, she is totally 100% making fun of me.

How wonderful you have a sister you are so close with. and that dream! Wow!!!! I had a similar situation happen like that with my late husband once. He sat up late writing a story to me and I dreamed the same story! Those experiences are so mind blowing and are such evidence of when people are truly connected.
