The kids have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for snow. Well, last week it hit, and they had 2 great days. Then it hit again yesterday! HARD. It was the perfect kind-pure beautiful powder type. Again they rounded up their neighborhood friends, and headed out to play. And in case you were wondering-Do homeschool kids get school off too on snow days?? Ummm, sometimes. :) Last week yes, they were off, but today there was no going out to play without their work being done. Which they finished, at warp-speed.
Brett took all 4 of the kids out to play and take some photos of them last week. This was Gabriel’s first time in the snow, and he was so excited to go out!
Riah walked out and started eating the snow right away. (I don’t understand kids fascination with eating snow?)
Priya put Gabe in a saucer, and started pulling him around…
Riah was pretty happy! They started heading over to a nearby golf course, for some great hills.
Gabe’s wondering why it is soooo cold out!
So his big brother Adin tries to help him out.
Priya and her best buddy Josie had a blast sledding together!! They are so cute. :)
UH OH!! Baby down!
The boys sledding together…Riah’s little face is so happy. :)
Josie’s brothers, Nick and Jake having fun. :)
OH NO!!! Josie helps Gabe after a face down fall! :(
Gabe realizes this white stuff is not all it’s cracked up to be.
Adin makes me laugh! His tongue is ALWAYS out when he is doing a balance type sport. :) HA!
Priya snowboarding!
Our pretty girl.
:) Anyone ready for Spring yet??
I am so ready for spring. We’ve had record snowfall this year and we have been below zero way too many times. Poor Gabe with a face full, yes the white stuff is not all its cracked up to be.
I love my babies. Everyday that it snowed all I wanted to do was come over and play with them. No one appreciates snow quite like kids….makes me miss being little with you and sledding down the hill (on pool rafts!). I love you sissy….I think we should just go outside and play one day. Maybe get Billy, Angie and Kay-Kay in on it too….I’m a dork I know. I just love my siblings. These pictures are beautiful….Brett did a great job! Much Love!
wow looks like a fun day of sledding…i love the snow in the face shot…haha.
Okay all of the photos with Gabe are cracking me up! Zane wasn’t into the snow either! Your older kids look like they had a blast!!!

So fun!! Ah to be a kid again :)
It’s amazing how fun these pictures make snow look. It’s very deceitful :) I’m in love with all of the pictures of Gabe, by the way – so cute!

MY BEAUTIFUL Grandchildren: to quote a country song by Trace Adkins: “You’re gonna miss this. You’re gonna want this back.
You’re gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast. These Are Some Good Times. So take a good look around. You may not know it now ….But you’re gonna miss this”. God KNOWS I wish I had “those days” back… I LOVED IT!
