Along this journey of documenting moments for others, we have been blessed to meet some of the greatest humans on earth. Meet Lindsay and Marvin, two of the kindest, most thoughtful, and just incredibly cool people you could meet (with families to match). Brett and I were welcomed into their beautiful day as if we were family, and we left with our hearts overflowing and thankful! I’m excited to share their day with you.
Lindsay with her beautiful mama and sister…how adorable are those robes!
Looking over the sweet gift from her groom. :)
Lindsay’s family has such a tightly-woven bond. It was one of the most beautiful things to witness.
First look with her father, and then some impromptu dance practice…
Meanwhile, the guys… ;)
Marvin heading to the first look of his gorgeous bride…
And then headed outside for some sunshine photos!
Mid-day full sun, let’s make some art!
Time to go get hitched!
Headed off to celebrate!
Their theme revolved around one of their favorite things: TRAVEL. We loved every little aspect and detail–the globe to sign, the ticket place cards, the tables that were labeled with places of importance to them–just perfect.
Oh and that sign at their table labeled Quito….That’s where they would be picking up and moving to after returning from their honeymoon in Europe!
What better way to top off the most perfect reception evening? A food truck of course!
Lindsay and Marvin, aka, The Adventurers: Hello in Ecuador, friends! We were so completely honored to document this important day in your lives. We honestly loved every single minute! Thank you for everything, and we wish you both many many years of happiness together.
With love, Jess and Brett
I’m kicking off the recent resurrection of my blog with a post that holds special meaning to me…this is my oldest niece! I’ve been photographing her since the days she was a baby and I was a teen with an old film camera strapped around my neck. She’s used to being in front of my lens. :) And now, she’s getting married!
Kait and Kurt wanted to capture their engagement session back in the town where they lived while Kaitlyn worked on her master’s degree–a town that also stole a huge piece of my niece’s heart–Savannah, GA. What better time for us to fly down and do the session but the weekend of her graduation! It was a perfect time for celebrating!
If there’s one single thing we knew we needed as our backdrop in Savannah, it was the stunning Live Oaks.
Excuse us, beautiful southern mansion, while we turn you into the the most backdrop.
Kaitlyn and Kurt will tie the knot next month on the shoreline of Lake Louise in Banff, Canada, and we can’t wait to capture them amidst that breathtaking scenery! Much love to you, Kait and Kurt!
