I know a lot of people around here get annoyed with the snow, but our family loves it. I suppose it’s because we are homebodies, and it gives us the excuse to “hunker-down.” We strike a hot fire, cuddle up, and cook good food. It gives us a great scene out our window, and precious memories outdoors for the kids. Here’s a look at our snowy winter weekend via the instagram/iphone…
-Brett worked with the boys training them on making a proper fire
-The kids shoveled the driveway, and then played for a while
-Gabe came in from the cold and snuggled up in our bed
-Saturday morning Brett and I woke to noises downstairs, and the kids had made us a huge breakfast from scratch–major heart melting moment
We post to instagram daily. Feel free to follow along with our crazy life… @jesszwo @brettzwo
We’re going to be an AUNT & UNCLE again very soon!
Words cannot express how over the moon excited I am for the wee little one that’s coming in the next few weeks. I felt similarly during their engagement session, but photographing this session for my baby sister and her hubby was both surreal, and so incredibly special to Brett and me. And look at her….she’s such a gorgeous mama, so full of light. Seeing her family grow warms my heart more than I could have imagined.
I can’t wait to see what this precious girl looks like…she will most likely have brown hair, but Ash’s brown eyes? Adam’s icy blues? Most of all, I can’t wait to have her in my life, adore her, and see her grow with my own kids, Lord willing.
I’m now officially “on call” as she is due in a couple weeks, and I’m prepping to be the best doulographer (that’s doula + photographer) that I can be for these three. And trust me–prepare yourself–you will be seeing that sweet face on this blog quite often. Let’s just say I warned you. ;)
And I have to mention Tucker, their incredibly happy dog who has no clue that he is about to lose his status as baby.
You are guys are the definition of peace and happiness together. Beautiful:)
