Lately I’ve been…..
– trying to break out of summer mode, and getting used to a more strict schedule
– thinking about how important it is for me to be creating-even just a bit each day
– organizing supplies, ordering books, and looking forward to our new homeschooling year that starts next week
– contemplating that my girl is now in Jr. High, and my baby is in Kindergarten (how?!)
– deep in thought regarding ways to “raise the bar” this year with schooling our children, and the gravity of this chosen undertaking
– repeatedly humbled by the Lord’s mercy and grace in my life
– in the mood for downsizing and feeling bogged down by so much unnecessary “stuff”
(which leads me to)
– considering planning a virtual garage sale
– dreaming of land, and entertaining the thought of moving to the country to give our kids the kind of experiences I had growing up
– excited to begin learning embroidery and cross-stitching
– feeling incredibly thankful for the simple things in this life

How about you? What are you up to lately?
This very precious family session had us just brimming over with inspiration! We were so pleased to meet the adorable Henry, who at the time of this session had only been with his parents for 3 weeks, but was already so lovingly attached to his mommy and daddy. The pure joy and love during this session was downright tangible.
Of course we had to get grandma and grandpa in some shots as well!
Like a rockstar…..
And then my heart exploded into a thousand pieces.
:)
my list would be too long for here;) but one thing is for sure, i am also so tired of all this unecessary stuff around me as well. sb and i have had many a conversation about downsizing. i crave simplicity. hugs.
i’m excited to move into our addition! which will house my office/a small shooting space; and add some touches to remind us that fall is coming. ; ) i have a big basket of colorful yarn balls in mind. oh…and my kitchen drawers are so cluttered and need cleaned. I cross my fingers every time I close them that they will indeed…close. haha
i am so in awe of your passion to teach your children!
We’re looking at simplicity too and how to get rid of the excess stuff. It just makes you start to think differently. I’ll have to email you a couple good books I’ve been diving into about getting rid of excess.
This is crystal clear. Thanks for tnaikg the time!
