I’m typing from a borrowed desk in a sweet little craftsman style bungalow in Santa Monica, California, with the nearby ocean breeze blowing in the window. Yes, it’s quite nice, and was MUCH needed! It was such a pleasure photographing this adorable family. You see, Claire is a photographer herself, which translates to her not having many photographs with her in them. I tried to dwell on this thought; how important it is for a mama to have those first photos of her holding her baby. And what a sweetie she is…little baby Jane.

So glad to have amazing photographers like you guys nearby. These photos represent so many firsts for me…first time mama, first home, first family photo session. All I wanted was real pictures of us and now I have them…and they’re awesome THANK YOU. I already want more!
