2009 favorites {children}

Yesterday we began our look back over 2009 and posted some favorites of our families. Today we are highlighting the children! If you didn’t see the post yesterday, we are running a contest!! Here is a refresher on the details:

I will post a new category every day or so this week (families, couples, wedding, etc.). You choose a favorite photo in each category and tell us which one it is, and WHY you like it in the comment box. Next Friday February 5th we will add up all of the votes for each photograph. The photo in each category with the most votes is the winner. The person in that particular photo will receive a FREE 8×10 of the photograph! But then listen to this….The ONE photo that gets the most votes overall, that person in the photo will receive a FREE 11x 14 canvas (a $250 value)!!! So how do we decide the winners? YOU DO by commenting!! If you are featured on here feel free to tell your friends, neighbors and family to get in on the voting….but we ask PLEASE one vote per person in EACH category. Let’s play fair!

We just love and adore ALLLL of these little faces. Children are such a light and joy, and their lack of inhibition makes them such a natural subject to photograph.

these butts belong to me, so this one doesn’t count in the contest. ;)

Beginning today, I am sifting through our work over the past year and compiling some of our favorites from various sessions. I know what you are thinking…..it has been 2010 for nearly a month, but I had to make sure that all of my 2009 sessions were blogged before we could show them!

Just like last year, we are also going to have a little contest. I will post a new category every day or so this week (families, couples, wedding, etc.). Some are big, some are small, some are new, some are seasoned….and a couple are just on the verge of the birth of their first child. We’ve loved the honor of capturing them all.
