I am sitting here in the airport….of course while traveling with our 4 children and our friend (total of 7) we arrived entirely too early because I was freaking out about being late. Oh well, better early than late I suppose. :) We will be out of town hopefully enjoying some nice LA sunshine for the next week. Because of this, I will not be as available, but I will be answering emails as much as I can. We will be working there as well in California, not just playing. :)
Here’s a quick web-cam shot of me with my good pal Renee who is traveling w/us to help with the kiddos. We have been friends since 5th grade, and this is the second vacation she has come on with us!! :)
Have a great week everyone!!!!
We met Erica and Jacob for the first time on the day of their engagement session. Although they are planning to wed here in Cincinnati in May, they currently are living in Chicago. We planned a few weeks ago for them to come to town for their engagement session, and we had a few events happen that made us wonder if things would work out…like my kids getting the stomach flu, and then her Mom threw Erica a surprise wedding shower! But all worked out well, and we are so happy to work with these guys! They are a great couple. Very fun, at ease, and very much in love. We like when couples are very much in love. :) I can just tell by their personalities, that the wedding is going to be a BLAST!! We can’t wait.
We began our shoot on the campus of Xavier University, because that is where they first met. From the beginning they were laughing and having a great time….well, as good of a time you can have in 22 degree weather!!! They were so AWESOME, and did a fabulous job of not acting cold!
The final days of two paths before they join to one.
Snuggling to keep warm. :)
We went inside for a little while for a warm up. We had no idea that we would find such cool photo spots!
Something about the lines in this….I just love it.
HOTNESS. LOVE these shots!! And I love when I can use unique available light.
We went back outside and it was snowing just a little bit.
We found this cute little campus house, and I fell madly in love with these Moroccan style doors.
My view….Isn’t Erica beautiful??!
And Brett’s view.
Then we drove up to an overlook of Cincinnati, not far from where they used to live in Mt. Adams.
Above the bridge….
Below the bridge.
I really liked this area, and this is one of my favorites.
I thought I would throw in one of Brett climbing, as usual. :) He was so cold he couldn’t feel the buttons on his camera!
Despite the weather which is so limiting, I LOVED this session so much!!
Erica and Jacob, thank you so so so much for making the trip down to Cincy and spending some time outside in the freezing weather with us!! We think you guys are great, and can’t wait until your wedding this MAY!!! YIPEEE :)
Come home….
