I am kind of stuck in that rut of way too much to blog, and not enough time to do it right now. This week has been super busy….full of great things like a 2 yr. old session with my baby Gabe, catching up with the awesome weddings we’ve been doing, and my little baby niece who graduated last night (that makes me feel so old…..).
So, I just wanted to tell you that this blog is going to be SLAMMED and smacked-down with some goodness very soon!! Be on the watch! :)
The main highlight next week will be our little guy who is turning 2!! I can hardly believe it, nor do I want to, but he is growing up. BOO!
Here he is playing his game with Baba where he balances on him, and then falls like a tree, flat down on the bed….Please ignore our messy bedroom, and the fact that my husband is in his underwear. (life)
See ya soon!
We had the honor of traveling to Indy for the fabulous wedding of Lindsey and Zac. Now, to many of her friends and family she is know as “Barb”, in case you were wondering about the post before. So, to avoid the confusion, Brett and I simply named her Linds-Barb. Worked for us. :)
Man O man, do we love these two! Funny thing is, we really didn’t know them until the wedding day. We met Lindsey briefly once when she was in town, but we didn’t meet Zac until the day of the wedding. I find it so strange, (but amazing) that we are able to share in such an intimate day with such great people, and it is called OUR JOB. :) By the end of the day, we felt like we had just made two new good friends.
Lindsey and Zac were married on the campus of Marian College where the two of them met. We had no idea how beautiful that campus would be! The girls got dressed inside the college classrooms, and when I saw these windows, I knew I HAD to find a way to get the dress shot there. Isn’t her dress gorgeous?
the girlies getting ready. :)
the rings…isn’t the heart shaped Hosta leaf cool??
Zac getting all fancied up!
Zac’s Dad helping……
Looking mighty handsome.
Brett said, “Can you hold your cuff links so I can get a shot?” This is what Zac did. I could say that this photo pretty much represents their awesome personalities. :)
Beautiful ladies!!! They could work it I tell ya. :)
The guys cleaned up quite nice themselves.
Although they wore heels for the wedding, these were their reception shoes! How fun and funky is that!?! We decided to try them on for size before hand.
Lindsey, you are so precious!!!! I flippin LOVE this shot.
The ring bearer, (Lindsey’s nephew) was such a cutie.
Before the ceremony, Lindsey sent a little gift over to Zac. I love the shot Brett got of the watch and letter.
Prayer before the ceremony.
The GORGEOUS bride…..
They done did it!!
Look at these college grounds….looks like we transported to Japan. We loved this little Oriental garden and pagoda.
The TRUE wedding party.
sweet couple in love…..
….who have an AMAZINGLY FUN side to them. :)
This was right before smash madness!
Lindsey’s Mom and sister get down!!
And we love this moment with Zac and his Mom.
We grabbed a pic with our pals Melanie and Adam– they are the ones who sent Lindsey and Zac our way!! Mel and Adam are fantastic local photogs, but since Mel was in the wedding, we got the job!!! (Thanks guys!)
So who am I taking a picture of???
Why, the super rad bride of course!! Lindsey, I just adore you. :)
Oh, and this was the icing on the cake (caught this right before we left)….Zoe is Lindsey’s niece (the little flower girl) and this was her sweet little note to her Aunt + future Uncle. :)
Wow. Trying to narrow down photos for this post was so hard……
Linds-Barb and Zac, we had no idea how much fun your wedding was going to be!! Hanging out with you guys was so easy and natural, like we were old friends. We are so glad that we were able to be a part of your big day….it was an honor!! Brett and I wish you all the best in your new life together, and we hope your Aruba honeymoon was fantastic. :)
