We had a dreary chilly day, but this family brought warmth and sweet sunshine along with them to their session. We had a great time meeting up with Ann and Josh, and their super adorable children.
Ann brought this cute vintage looking hat for Piper, and we had a hard time keeping it on her more than 2 seconds. We managed to snag a few shots between rip-offs. :)
love little comfy family moments like these.
We did this session the day before Piper’s 1st birthday, so we made sure to get a lot of her!!
Little Piper is such a cutie pie…I had this HUGE urge to pick her up and squeeze her cheeks…but I controlled myself. ;)
SO CUTE!!!
One of those quick moments with the hat on!
Precious little face.
Eli is all boy. He amazed me with how precocious he is for 2 1/2! He was so independent- running off and exploring on his own. We pointed out this little tree, and he loved it.
I thought this photo of Piper with her Daddy was too cute.
Eli was too busy exploring to stop for a shot, but he did take a peek at his sister.
She was having fun playing peek-a-boo with us.
At the next stop, Eli was checking out the pretty leaves.
So so sweet.
It had been gray out all day, and just at the right moment, the sun peaked out and was MAGNIFICENT.
One of my favorites…
Piper’s adorable face!!
Tickle time….
Ann+Josh, it was a pleasure meeting you and your beautiful family! You guys are amazing. Please tell Eli and Piper we say HI! :)
This super awesome family came to us after seeing photos we took of their good friends and neighbors. We were so happy to meet and spend a evening together getting some fun family shots. They are moving to Seattle after the new year, so this was a great way to get some memories in of Cincinnati together.
Meet Jackie, her husband Patrick, their two boys Brennan and Ryan, and their ADORABLE dog Murphy. :)
I have to admit that photographing 2 boys ages 12 + 8 seemed like it would be tough…these guys were up for anything.
Of course two brothers in the fall means you are going to have a leaf fight. We had a few of them.
Murphy wanted his own solo shot, and I was very happy to oblige. Seriously, I loved this dog.
They are adorable.
Mom got this hat on him for about 2 minutes. The blue made his eyes POP!
We had gorgeous light that evening.
And a gorgeous family as well!
:)
We really had a lot of fun together.
Sneak attack take 5!
brothers.
I *love* my husband. just saying. :)
Jackie, Patrick, Brennan and Ryan (oh, and Murph!) thank you so much for hanging out and getting some laid back family photos before the big move. I hope these will be fun memories for you to look back on. We wish you all the best, out west! ;)

I LOVE this family! You totally captured them! What a beautiful collection of photos for an awesome little family! (And, that is what I do when I see Piper- her cheeks are SO squeezable, and kissable!) :) Great photos! LOVE it!
Great family. Very nice set of pictures.
They are all my favorites! Couldn’t pick just one. I could pick Piper up and squeeze her too!
