We love Dan and Kristi!!! You may remember them from their engagement session at Xavier University, which is where they met. Kristi found us over a year ago, and has since been such a huge fan and supporter of studio3z. She even sent Erica + Jacob to us, who we love too! :) Going to this wedding was like a reunion with all the same friends…and I LOVE when that happens.
The day started off with two nervous cookies. I would say Dan + Kristi tied on the nerves scale. ;)
Getting the beautiful dress on…
Dan’s looking GOOD!
Such a beautiful bride…
They were married at the church on Xavier’s campus. It was perfect.
LOVE this!
And we LOVE this bridal party!!! You all are wonderful. :)
We had a HOT day….like the kind we’ve waited 2 months for, and it decided to show up the week of their wedding.
The boys decided to take a break from photos and chill in the party bus for a few.
But the girls cooled off too. :)
When I took this I gasped. She looks like Eve, as in the “garden of Eden” Eve. BEAUTIFUL.
Work IT ladies!! WORK IT!
Kristi, you are stunning.
The boys ventured out, but they were still HOT. This photo makes me laugh. :)
Flipping LOVE this!
Have I mentioned we enjoy acting out musicals??
Then our favorite time….just the two loves.
Her dress was so rocking!
YOU TWO = precious.
This is so pretty LARGE. As in, may be a new canvas for studio3z.
After a dance in, Dan swooped up his wife entering the reception.
I loved that their tables cards had photos of the two of them at the age listed. They were adorable!
Wonderful prayers and toasts!
One of the many reasons I love Dan is that he ordered chicken fingers (the kid plate) at his wedding.
:) :)
Another thing…these two took care of us like we were family. Sweet as could be, and we couldn’t appreciate it more. They kept telling us to grab a drink and we said, “Maybe later.” Dan just brought a beer up to Brett and put it in his hands.
As Kristi jumped in, guess who took this photo?
The groom, Danny boy. :)
**THE BEST FIRST DANCE WE HAVE EVER WITNESSED.**
Right before the reception, they clued us into a surprise….They had been working for weeks on a surprise dance that only the DJ knew about. It started off normal and beautiful….
And then it turned AMAZING!! They took clips of TONS of songs and danced away to each. People were in SHOCK!
After that, the PARTY got started!!!
The Xavier boys were hilarious!
Did I mention we love these guys?? ALL of them! Their friends, family, everybody.
They wrote us last week from Hawaii- while on their honeymoon!! They said, “We kept telling people how great it was to have friends do our wedding and not some random stiffs…” :) They sent us some “studio3z inspired” honeymoon shots, and it totally made mine and Brett’s night.
We feel so incredibly blessed to do what we do, and share days like these with such awesome people.
Kristi and Dan!! You two are just amazing people. So kind, big hearted, and I love seeing the compassion you have for one another. You fit together so perfectly.
We can’t thank you enough for the kindness you have shown us, and it was such an honor to be there on your wedding day and capture those moments for you.
We wish you two all the best, and many many happy years.
AND, we can’t wait until another friend in the group gets engaged to see you all again!!! ;)
much love~

Creativity….Fresh ideas…..
You may have seen this already, and I have been wanting to post this artistic endeavor for a while now. The story goes something like this….adoring (and unemployed) fan creates a FANTASTIC video for a Death Cab for Cutie song. He plans it out, and through a mixture of many many still photographs and video, he creates a wonderful piece.
People notice it. People love it.
Death Cab notices it. Death Cab makes it their official video for their song, “Little Bribes.”
Fan is happy. Fan now works. :)
Moral of the story: BE CREATIVE, and show it! You may be surprised who takes note.

Love her dress! And I tried to pick my fave picture and failed — too many fabulous ones!!
What an awesome post
Jess,
OOh, I so remember this couple’s e-session! Love them! You guys did an AWESOME job on this one! I think the Eve photo is my fave…no, wait….THE FOLK CORNER SHOT! Love that sign!!
And fo real, the whole Table #, photos of them at that age concept? BRILLIANT! It’s always fun to go to a wedding and see something you’ve never witnessed before, right?
What a great looking session, I am amazed. This couple is great, I absolutely love the way they look at each other. My favorite pic is the group shot on on the stairs; priceless. I too remember their engagement session, they must love Xavier! The boys must be very close friends to tolerate such funny casual shots. Is there a video of their dance? Are the bridesmaid and the groom twins (if not they sure look it)? Jess & Brett – you’ve really outdone yourself on this one, congrats!
looks like it was a very fun and high energy wedding!
RAD WED.
love the new canvas shot :)
OMG. the pics are fab! I was there, and the pics definitely do justice to the most amazing event! You did a fab job on capturing the love these two super kids share. I love how creative your shots are. You’re the best I’ve seen. I am looking forward to seeing you again, possibly at Dave & Leah’s (my son).
Give me a G – Give me a R – Give me an E – Give me an A – Give me a T —- GREAT!!! Best, Alex
If this is a ‘preview,’ I can’t wait to see the entire album. OMG, great photos, but how can they be too bad with Dan and Kristi? Great work Jess and Brett, you truly have a gift:)
I wasn’t able to attend but, through your photos, I could actually feel what I missed. Great photos – creative, artsy, unique – fabulous!
A followup to Karen’s comment about the bridesmaid & groom being twins. No they are not, but truly very close in age. Just a beautiful most memorable day it was. Thank you Brett & Jess for your true gift you shared with all of us. True friends, I pray they’ll always remain.
Happy Birthday – Dan! You have made it to the ripe age of 26! Congrats!
every time i look at these i love them even more! thank you thank you thank you jess and brett!!!
