Riah (pronounced Rye-uh) is our 3rd born baby…..he is four.
His real name is Xavier Yuriah, and his initials are XYZ.
The nickname came from his big brother Adin trying to say Yuriah and only getting out “Riah.” It stuck.
If we want to take photos, Riah is the most likely to be our model.
Riah plays alone the best out of our four. He is also a good singer. If he was playing by himself this week and you walked by, most likely you would hear, “How the Day Sounds” by Greg Laswell coming from his mouth-word for word.
His favorite hymn is “Amazing Grace” which has to be sung to him every night before bed.
He concentrates, is very methodical, and borderline obsessive compulsive about his schedule and routines. Even though he is Mr. Safety, he is the only one of our kids to have been in a near death situation. (Thank you Lord for keeping our baby boy with us.)
He loves his toy wooden train….as you can see.
He is funny, and he knows it.
Most of all….his smile. I could never explain what that gorgeous smile does to me. The closest would be to say that it lights up my life, every single day.
Welcome little Paige Janelle….She was 5 weeks old when I came over to her house to photograph her. What a little cutie!
Here is Paige getting some love by Mommy and Daddy (Brittany and Joel). It is so much fun watching new parents. They are just as cute as the babies. :)
Check out that look on her face!
First baby smiles are the biggest heart melters.
Daddy + daughter.
Paige was so cute! Every time the camera was on her, she was well aware. This was her “Vogue” pose.
See what I mean? She was staring right at me!!
Did I mention she was brilliant? This is her after I said, “How many weeks old are you Paige?” :)
This is Paige’s Aunt Janelle, who she gets her middle name from.
Naked time! Paige was not interested in looking at me…she just wanted to look out the window.
Love her yummy baby rolls.
When my daughter saw me working on these she said, “Wow, she is SOOO lucky to have so much hot pink.” :)
She went to sleep for just a minute or so.
At the end, everyone got Paige dressed up and we went out to get some fresh spring air.
Thank you Brittany and Joel, for having me into your home to photograph your precious little family. :)
what a gem…these pictures are stinkin fabulous…i love the black and whites with the train and man does he have a great smile. I can see why it brings you joy :)
i want to squeeze his cute little guts out! what a sweet lil thang, i lurve him.
So adorable. I love his little teeth.
THREE near death experiences. I love my baby boy and I’m so glad you gave birth to that cute little kid!
Awwwwww, how precious mommy!!!
isn’t it wonderful the little (and big) things that make each of our children special. i think his smile will be lighting up and melting hearts for a very long time;)
What a cutie!! My favorite is the first shot where he’s peering at the camera. You and your hubby make the most adorable children :)
even though he looked like a little ferret when he was little, he has the most beautiful, contagious smile. i love that it takes a few minutes for him to warm up to me after he wakes from a nap, then he’s a relentless ham for the rest of the day. he is every bit BOY, but he has the softest, most kind and selfless heart. riah rocks in front of the camera and off camera. i love that little boy.
i like that you put the pronunciation in there. lol. was that bc of me? xyz. awesome. on the way home adam and i were discussing their names and wondering where they derived. my guess was biblical. we very much enjoy ‘different’ names. i love that last shot. adorable.
Mel…I put the pronunciation in there because I had a few people who called him “REE-YAH.” :) Just an FYI.
When he wouldn’t go to bed, i pulled out the full name in an attempt to sound stern. “Xavier Yuriah Zwolinski, please go to bed.” It worked. ;) He’s such a charmer. He gave me homework to learn the rest of the lyrics to “Amazing Grace.” (I only know a few verses.) love.
he is beautiful.
i LOVE that his initials are XYZ.
He is too cute!!! I love his laughing shot…looks like he knows how to have fun!
