Kamaria is an extraordinary kind of girl…the type that walks to the beat of her own drum. When I first heard from her and we were talking about the look she wanted, I knew we would have some fun. She is laid back, loves books, loves acting, and has a big beautiful smile. I told her we may have an overcast chilly day and she said that was more fitting for her…I got a kick out of this, because I am the same way. Anyone can appreciate the sunshine, but it takes a different type of person to find beauty in gray days.
Of course it would only be fitting for her to bring her books along.
This is what she can be found doing quite often. These are a few of her current favorites.
Then we switched things up, and went walking around.
Such pretty eyes and a brilliant smile. :)
Love this look…
We considered using this yellow doorway which I used in her friend’s Senior session…I typically try not to repeat the same backgrounds on shoots. We decided it was too good to pass up. (It looked so cute with her outfit!) Here she is saying, “Sorry Mary!”
“Seize the day.” I love her shirt. I want it.
This was right after she did a soliloquy for me. :) I love that she laughs at herself….a great character quality if you ask me.
I love this photo. There is a very natural, organic feel to it.
Just something she did, I snapped, and I dig.
Lovely.
Kamaria, thanks to you and your family for your patience with your blog post. :) Thanks also to Lainey (Kamaria’s AWESOME friend) for carrying around all the clothes, shoes, etc. that day! It was A LOT!!!
Best of luck to you and your future Kamaria! When you are a famous actress on Broadway don’t forget us little people. :)
I hope everyone had a great New Year’s Eve, and are off to a great start for 2009! I am so excited when I think back on the year we have had here at studio3z. It was a great year, and we hope 2009 is even better. A huge THANKS to all of you for your support…whether you check our blog everyday and leave us comment love often, or if this is your very first visit-we thank you for taking the time to view our work- our heart. :)
Usually Brett and I stay home on NYE, but we got a sitter this year for the first time so we were able to go out for a night on the town. I thought I would share some of our photos! We went to Jeff Ruby’s steakhouse in downtown Cincy, and were joined by our good friend Matt from Columbus and his girlfriend Laura. Laura’s sister and her husband, another couple of their friends and their parents also joined us for dinner.
Here is a photo Matt took of us….ALSO, these shots were all taken with our new camera- the Canon 5D Mark ii. It was VERY dark in the restaurant. These were mainly shot at 3200 ISO!!
Matt and Laura…they are precious.
Our dinner table!
2 minute countdown….getting the champagne ready!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
:) Thanks Matt.
They make a great couple.
In other news, we have our NEW “love + marriage” site up and a new splash page!!! If you go to studio3z.com you will see new stuff. The blog is up next on the list. :)

i vote for Grace, #9 – she is so beautiful and sweet
My vote is for my cutest and smartest niece Leyla. Do I need to write any more reason?
:)
Why is She sad?
#1 – Leyla. This is a nice and vintage-looking picture. And also, she is my sister’s granddaughter – the prettiest granddaughter!
I am voting for Leyla and Zazi! Leyla – because she is named after me and she is my mother’s favorite granddaughter, Zazi – because I am in love with his blue eyes! :))
My family’s vote is for Leyla and Zazi, because we love them and miss them. My Dad says hi to you all!
I have been carrying Zazi’s picture with me since Konul emailed it to me. I love him so much and I show his picture to my college friends and brag all the time how handsome nephew I have. Zazi, you have my vote! And I am voting for Leyla too and waiting for her to come back to Baku that I would take a good bite of her yummy cheeks!
Greetings from cold Aberdeen! Without hesitation I am voting for Leyla and Zazi because I haven’t seen any other kids prettier and more handsome than them. I love them and I am proud of my sister and Chad for them.
When I saw Leyla she was only 6-month old. Now she is a young lady. And I haven’t met Zazi yet. I am voting for Leyla and Zazi because I get to know them through your pictures. They both are adorable!
Without thinking twice, Leyla is getting my vote! Her mother grew up in my arms and now she is a mother herself! I wish we could see her and her family more often. I vote for Leyla and Zazi because they are my family and we are waiting to see them this summer!!!
