Hello fellow blog readers! Recently we updated our blog with a new background, new banner slide show, and a few other goodies sprinkled throughout like our new “about” section. :) It was brought to my attention that some people are not able to view the “new” blog and well, that kinda upset me because we put some work in to it!! So, if you are seeing the same ol’ same old blog, please clear your cache. If you don’t know how to do this, here is a youtube video teaching you how. I think this one is windows based, but they have the mac version too. Yes, they have them for everything.
In other news, studio3z is visiting South Carolina at the end of next month! (YAYYY!) We will be down near Charleston, and if we have interest we would be open to scheduling a session (any type: family, senior, fashion, just for fun). If you would be interested in running around historic Charleston with us get back to us soon at: info@studio3z.com
We plan to start traveling more often, so if you are in another location and would love for us to visit YOUR area, please drop us a note and let us know!! :)
We have the privilege of calling this lovely family our neighbors. Although they would think we are silly for saying it, they are just about perfect in every way. They have 3 of the most adorable children, and really since we have lived in our home for the past 2 and a half years, they have been nothing but incredibly kind and generous. When the dad, Matt, told us that all Angie wanted for Mother’s Day was a session with us, we were thrilled! We hooked him up with a gift certificate, and recently we did this family session before school got going. From skipping stones on the lake, hanging out in the field, to fishing, the whole session seemed to capture the essence of summer and I think that is exactly what Angie was wanting. Honestly, there were so many photos that I loved from this session that it made choosing difficult. I had a REALLLY hard time.
First you can meet the three kiddos. :)
This is Nick, the middle man.
And Jake…the oldest of the pack.
And last but not least is princess Josie. (otherwise known as “best buddy in the WORLD” to my kids.)
Here is their Mom and Dad- Angie and Matt. I know they were slightly uncomfortable getting photos of just the two of them, (once you have kids it’s hard to be without them) but I ended up with so many favorites of these two! It was ridiculous!!
I love this one. :)
The brothers!!
Handsome #1, and handsome #2.
Little beauty. I was asking her questions about school here, and she was thinking. :)
More of mom and Dad. I just couldn’t help myself!
Josie was at our house the other day and Brett asked her if she would like the photo of her brother’s kissing her blown up REALLLLY big to hang over her couch. She said “No WAY! I want the one of us rolling down the hill!”
Wowzers. No wonder your children are adorable….You two are beautiful!!
We have a photo of our family like this in our house that we set up and took, and Angie has always loved it. So we recreated it for her. :)
The boys decided to fish for a while….
Ok so I said, “How about you boys kiss Josie!” She kept moving back every time they would try. Finally Jake grabbed her, and after they kissed her, Nick is wiping off his lips. They are so stinkin cute. :)
One of Brett’s favorites.
Josie looks JUST like her Mama, and the boys look like their Dad.
Thanks guys! We had a great time with you, as always. See ya in the backyard. :)
Hoooly Cooow that is one of the most beautiful families I have ever seen! I loove the one of Josie on the hill.
I love the photo of her thinking…so cute and funny at the same time! Grabbed your site from Betsy’s…sorry I didn’t get to meet you last night! Hopefully sometime soon!
i agree with jenny…this family really could not get any better looking! love the solo shots of the kids, the b&w one of mom & dad in front of barbed wire fence, the b&w one of mom & dad holding hands with the kids in the distance, oh, and the one of josie with mom– so precious! yet again, another amazing shoot brett and jess!
such a great looking family! i love the pic of the kids rolling down the hill, the boys trying to kiss josie and nick casting that rod…adorable! beautiful location for a shoot.
