julia + josh {are married!!}

Oh my oh my…what a wedding.  Brett and I adore this couple.  Julia found me through a referral, and quickly became my biggest fan.  When we did their engagement session, she was so in love with her photos, and wrote me the sweetest email I’ve ever gotten about our photography.  It made me so happy to be able to work with them again, knowing how meaningful these photos would be to the both of them.  The wedding came quickly and was the perfect way to end our wedding season. (We get a couple months off!) Let me just say first, she looked stunning!!  Looking over the photos it was more like a bridal session/wedding because seriously, I just couldn’t take my eyes off her with all her vintage Hollywood glam.  Secondly, their friends and family are well, AWESOME.  I loved hanging out with those girls!! I could go on and on but enough talking, I’ll let you see for yourself.  ;)

Her Mom and girlies help her get her “poof” on  :)

We went out in her street and I tried to make her laugh.

This reminds me of a magazine ad.

Talk about a contagious smile.  She just lights up the room!!

Josh and Julia decided to see each other before the wedding and this was there first look.  :)  That is Josh’s Mom back by the door.

The boys….

The cutest little man  :)

The ladies…they so rocked out this photo!!! It was about 35 degrees out with the wind blowing FULL BLAST!!  When I saw what was happening with her veil, and the dresses, I started jumping up and down out of excitement (and I was freezing to death!)

Can you say new studio canvas??  I CAN!!!

Love this  :)

Some photos of the two of them.

Julia can work that camera let me tell you.  :)

Such a vintage couture look.

So glad someone came along and painted these windows for us to match her wedding.  :)

Walking back to the car the sky was gorgeous.  They were frozen!

We went to a park after that, and captured some AMAZING fall color!!! ANOTHER FAVORITE!

No touching up of those blue eyes.  BEAUTIFUL.

blingity bling bling.

I just love the way her Dad is looking at her walking down the isle.  By the way, yes Tom you looked AWESOME too.  :)

“Announcing Mr. and Mrs……”

The party began-and did not stop!!  At Josh’s request they walked into the reception with a “Blues Brothers” theme.  Julia started dancing, and basically never stopped.  Did I mention I love this girl??

One of the best reactions to a speech ever.

Their friends loved to dance.  Once the music began, I don’t think ANY of them ever sat down.

Julia and Josh thank you for inviting us to be a part of your special day.  You made us feel so welcome and we appreciated it so much.  We enjoyed getting to know your families and amazing friends, and you are so lucky to have the awesome bonds that you have.    We wish you two all the best and many, many years together!  Much LOVE!

:)  Jess and Brett

cuteness overload.

Almost every night when I am feeding Gabriel his dinner and he is just about finished, he lays his head down on the table. Doesn’t really matter what is there before him- a plate of food, spilled drink, leftovers scattered around…down his sweet little head goes. That is my signal that it is time for him to head up to bed, and I think it is one of the sweetest little signals he gives to me.

He started hamming it up to the camera, when I said, “You wanna go nite-nite?”

Then he said, “No!”

Those eyelashes about melt my heart into a bazillion pieces….

The next morning…I had been working on the computer and I walked in the kitchen to find this scene.  He got in the cabinet and had his mouth as STUFFED as possible-as well as each hand, with ginger snaps.  I am just so glad he grabbed dairy free cookies because he has a milk allergy.  He still got in trouble though.  :)

His mouth was so full, he had cookie juice dripping down his PJ’s!  YUMMY.
