Nearly a decade ago I photographed Hannah’s high school senior photos, so I was beyond thrilled to receive an email from her asking us to photograph her wedding! Since beginning our photography business, nothing tops the honor of following a person and being able to document the same soul on this journey through life.
Due to Cincinnati weather we were forced to postpone their session twice, once for sweltering heat, and once for rain, but it ended up just fine. The day of our session couldn’t have been any more perfect, and the late autumn we were experiencing in Cincinnati happened to be at its peak time.
Hannah and Jordan, we look forward to your big day coming up this fall!
I’m kicking off the recent resurrection of my blog with a post that holds special meaning to me…this is my oldest niece! I’ve been photographing her since the days she was a baby and I was a teen with an old film camera strapped around my neck. She’s used to being in front of my lens. :) And now, she’s getting married!
Kait and Kurt wanted to capture their engagement session back in the town where they lived while Kaitlyn worked on her master’s degree–a town that also stole a huge piece of my niece’s heart–Savannah, GA. What better time for us to fly down and do the session but the weekend of her graduation! It was a perfect time for celebrating!
If there’s one single thing we knew we needed as our backdrop in Savannah, it was the stunning Live Oaks.
Excuse us, beautiful southern mansion, while we turn you into the the most backdrop.
Kaitlyn and Kurt will tie the knot next month on the shoreline of Lake Louise in Banff, Canada, and we can’t wait to capture them amidst that breathtaking scenery! Much love to you, Kait and Kurt!
Awesome pictures! Hannah you look beautiful and Jordan you look handsome!
